This guide explains the configuration steps required to set up Polycom VVX model phones for use with AltiGen’s hosted Skype for Business services.

These instructions are designed for a phone with the original factory default settings. If you are unsure whether your phone is in the original state, go through the factory default reset process before proceeding with this steps in this guide.

Also note that provisioning the phone does not enter your individual user settings; it sets the phone to a Skype for Business profile and assigns the appropriate firmware version. You must enter the user information after this provisioning process, either from the phone’s menus or by using the web configuration tool (which is covered in this guide).
