Customer would like to change the meetme conference ID.
Resolution:
The ID for an existing MeetMe Conference can be changed "manually" by following these directions.
Note: This workaround was created in response to a dealer request. It requires editing a portion of your live database. Anytime you manually edit your configuration in this way there is a risk of data loss. Always backup your configuration before attempting a manual configuration change. In this case, create a backup of your Repository.xml in C:\Altiserv\db\Meetings.
1) Schedule a future meeting.
2) Backup the repository.xml file at c:\altiserv\db\Meetings\.
3) Create the same meeting again and remember the new assigned ID (such as 032).
3) Remember the old ID (such as 029), and Delete the old meeting.
4) Stop the Altigen Conference Service from Start>All Programs>AltiGen Java Services Loader>Altigen Java Services Manager.
5) Use Notepad and open the file c:\altiserv\db\Meetings\Repository.xml with notepad and search for the meeting id='32' and change it to id='29.
7) Change the text of the next id element from 32 to 29 also as shown below.
8) Save the repository.xml file
9) Start the Altigen Conference Service from Start>All Programs>AltiGen Java Services Loader>Altigen Java Services Manager.
10. Reopen the Meet Me Conference Management Screen and the Meeting ID has been changed from 32 to 29.
